WE ARE PROUD TO BE AN AMERICORPS NATIONAL SERVICE PROGRAM

AmeriCorps is a network of national service programs, made up of three primary programs that each take a different approach to improving lives and fostering civic engagement. Members commit their time to address critical community needs like increasing academic achievement, mentoring youth, fighting poverty, sustaining national parks, preparing for disasters, and more.

More than 80,000 Americans across the country participate in AmeriCorps each year. All of them are tackle different community needs in different ways.

Our team of 30 CAN AmeriCorps College Coaches empower youth in 11th and 12th grade, as they embark on their journey to and through college.  They provide crucial support to students as they navigate social and academic challenges of high schools and enter the intimidating college search, application and enrollment processes. They work on-site at schools in 4 districts across King County and deliver our comprehensive curriculum and program model.
